This program is a recreational enrichment program for children, designed
to meet the needs of the working parent. Safekey is staffed by trained
recreation leaders. The program consists of an activity or game period,
sports, arts and crafts, and special events. In addition, an after school
snack is provided. This program corresponds with the Clark County School
District calendar.
Note: This program is administered by the City of North Las Vegas Parks
and Recreation Department, your school office may help you with information
but cannot register your child. Check with your individual Safekey
site for specific hours of operation and fees or call the Safekey office
at 633-1608.
Days and Hours of Operation:
Safekey Office, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Grades: K - 5th Grade
Program Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. - After school until 6:00 p.m.
How do I register my child?
Participants may be registered at your child’s school in the Multi-Purpose
room during Safekey program hours by parents/guardians. At this time
a Participation Form is filled out, you will receive a Parent Handbook
and fees are due.
