Tastes And Tunes Logo

The City of North Las Vegas is pleased to present the 6th Annual Tastes & Tunes celebration, a festival of culture, heritage and music located at 2200 Civic Center Drive on the North Las Vegas City Hall Campus. The event is produced by the City of North Las Vegas in partnership with Bud Light, Pat Clark Pontiac, Metro PCS, Southwest Airlines, and The Culinary Training Academy. Broadcast media partners include Sinclair Media (The CW and My LVTV), Power 88.1 FM and 98.5 KLUC.  Admission is free.

Twenty-two marketplace vendors selling items ranging from jewelry, sunglasses, clothing, art, beauty products, leather products, cooking utilities, candles, ceramics and more all at affordable prices.  

Carnival Hours

11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday
Enjoy a variety of thrilling rides, midway games, and entertainment for the whole family. Carnival provided by Davis Amusements.

Boxing Hours
7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Friday
Golden gloves boxing bouts will be provided for your enjoyment by local club Barry’s Boxing.  Experience the knock-down excitement of this USA-sanctioned sport.

Break Dancing Demonstration
11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. on Saturday  

Food Vendor Hours
5:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. on Friday
11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. on Saturday
Food will be provided by a variety of vendors including Smokin’ Sam’s, Seven Sea’s, Tommy Boy Sausage, Bingo Concession’s, Pinoy Express, Quality Food Services, Martino’s Grill, Manna’s Catering, I Vend LV, H & H B-B-Q, Qdoba, Red Rock Grill, Synsationally Sweet, State Fair Old Fashioned Lemonade, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, and Panda Express.  

Salsa Recipe Contest
11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. on Saturday
Enjoy a variety of taste bud teasing salsa from community members and food vendors. Judging will take place at 6:00 p.m. Winners will be announced at 8:30 p.m. on the Main Stage. Winners will win $100 cash and a trophy. Categories include hot, mild, sweet/fruity and City Challenge.

Car Show
11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Saturday
Thirty cars are scheduled to be displayed at the event. This portion of T&T is sponsored by Pat Clark Pontiac.  There will be awards given for Best in Show, Kid’s Pick and Director’s Pick. Trophies and dash plaques will be given.
