Northern Exposure 10K and 2 Mile Family Run/Walk

Event Date: November 8, 2008

  2007 10K Event

The City of North Las Vegas presents the 9th Annual Northern Exposure 10K Race and 2 Mile Family Run/Walk. The event will be held November 8, 2008 at Seastrand Park, 6330 Camino Eldorado, North Las Vegas.

The 10K race will start at 8:30 a.m. and the two-mile walk begins at 8:00 a.m.

The 10K Race course winds through the developing communities of America¿s second-fastest growing large city. Over $3,000 in cash and prizes will be distributed to the top three overall winners (male and female), top two in the masters divisions (male and female), and top 3 in each age division (male and female).

The 2-Mile Family Run/Walk is a completely separate course and is ideal for families and participants with strollers. Both courses wind through the beautiful master-planned community of Eldorado. The City is proud and excited to show off its fast-growing community to people from other parts of the valley and the Southwest - giving visitors some Northern Exposure.

There will be live music and entertainment, and quality food service vendors, a health fair and more. Click here to register for this 2008 event on-line at www.active.com. Call 633-2650 for information regarding this special event.
