The State of the City 2010 Video starts with music and shows Mayor Shari L. Buck walking towards North Las Vegas City Hall.  She then looks at a seed in her palm, plants the seed, and finally waters it.  The planting quickly begins to sprout.  A diverse group of smiling people stand beside the Mayor and watch the plant grow.  Included are children, a fire fighter, a member of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, a person in military fatigues, a doctor, a police officer, Judge Warren VanLandschoot, and City staff.  As the tree grows its leaf patterns reflect the professions of the people who are being shown.  The tree grows taller than City Hall and the video ends with the City's logo being displayed.
