The Administration Division is responsible for providing guidance to all divisions within the Human Resources Department.  Responsibilities include the negotiation of contracts and ordinances, compliance with labor agreements, acts as secretary to the Civil Service Board, administers Civil Service Rules & Regulations, ensures FMLA and ADA compliance, administers compliance with all other Federal, State and Local laws, and provides personnel management and counseling. The administrative division also conducts EEO and NERC investigations and responses, manages labor relations, i.e., grievances, mediation, arbitration, disciplinary investigations and hearings, harassment investigations and hearings, and manages the EAP program. The division also is responsible for policy development and strategic planning.
