Battalion Chief Wittwer is currently assigned to operations as Battalion 5, B Platoon. He has completed over 20 years in the fire service having served all of his career with the City of North Las Vegas Fire Department. Battalion Chief Wittwer has also served in staff and training positions, including firefighter recruit academies, Administrative Captain, and a Chief position in charge of facilities.

Battalion Chief Wittwer holds an Associates Degree in Fire Science from the College of Southern Nevada. He has attended and completed over 10 courses at The National Fire Academy, in Emmitsburg, Maryland. He currently is active in the Nevada Fire Chiefs Association serving as Secretary Treasurer.
