Operations STATION 55 5725 Allen Lane
Located at 5725 Allen Lane, this Station was built in 2003, and currently houses one engine company, Engine 55, a 2004 Pierce Quantum which is equipped with a 1500 gallon per minute pump and a 750 gallon water tank, Rescue 55, a 2008 Med-Tec which is a transport-capable rescue vehicle. The Station also houses a 2004 Scott Liberty air trailer which is equipped to refill self-contained breathing apparatus air bottles and provide portable / fixed scene lighting; Station 55 is also home to Battalion Chief 15 (2005) Ford Expedition. Engine 55 is staffed by one captain, one engineer, and two firefighters. Rescue 55 is staffed by two firefighters one of which is a Paramedic. Both the Rescue and Engine are capable of providing advanced life support (ALS) services. |
