Central Fire Station No. 51 Web Page.
Located at 2626 East Carey Avenue, this station was built in
1973 and currently houses one engine, Engine 51, a 2003
Pierce Quantum 1500 gpm/750 gln pumper; and two rescues,
Rescue 51( a 2001) and Rescue 251(a 2002) Braun Northwest large transport-capable
rescue vehicles. The fire apparatus, ALS Paramedic, are staffed by
one Captain, one Engineer, and two firefighters. The Rescues are staffed
by two firefighters, one a paramedic. Station 51 is the location for
the on-duty Battalion Chief, and also houses E-251, a 1991 Quality
Gladiator 1500 gpm/750 gln reserve engine. Fire Administration, Training,
Emergency Management, Public Education, and the Fire Protection Engineer,
are also located at Station 51. |
