Located at 3001 Martin Luther King Boulevard, this station was formerly Station 53 and is now temporarily being used as Station 50.  Built in 1970 it currently houses one engine company, Engine 50, a 2002 Pierce Quantum with a 1500 gallon per minute pump and a 750 gallon tank; and one rescue, Rescue 50 (2002) International which is a transport-capable rescue vehicle.  The Engine is staffed by one captain, one engineer, and two firefighters. The Rescue is staffed by two firefighters one of which is a paramedic. All units are equipped to provide advanced life support (ALS) services.
