PINK HEALS TOUR

NORTH LAS VEGAS IS THE FINAL LEG OF THE 2010 PINK HEALS TOUR

For the 3rd consecutive year, The Pink Heals Tour will be held in North Las Vegas.
This year it is the final 2-day wrap up event, to be held at the Cannery Hotel, 2121
E. Craig Road.

On Friday night, October 29, 8:00 p.m., a concert and silent auction is being planned
at The Club inside the Cannery.  Items for bid, entertainment, and ticket prices TBA.

On Saturday, October 30th, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., the Pink Heals event will be held outdoors in the festival area at the Cannery.  This years event will include local entertainment, food and products by local vendors, refreshments, screening appointments for free mammograms, and other health information. North Las Vegas, Clark County, Las Vegas, Boulder City, Henderson, and Nellis AFB fire departments will be participating.

The tour, which features two pink fire engines and a pink truck company, is visiting cities across the country, holding health fairs focused on the importance of supporting women
and increasing awareness of all types of cancer.  The pink fire trucks are staffed by firefighters in pink turnouts and are adorned with thousands of signatures of breast cancer survivors, their family members and friends.
