Fire Protection Engineer

Effective March 1, 2008, Mike Steele became the Assistant Fire
Protection Engineer. He reviews planning, civil improvement,
building, and fire protection system submittals for the City. The Fire Protection Engineer is also responsible for interpreting and applying
the Fire Code as necessary, and assists in the modifications of the
Fire Code as adopted by the City. The Fire Protection Engineer is
available by appointment for consultation regarding fire protection requirements for new and existing buildings and businesses. Please
