CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER RESPONSIBILITY

2225 Civic Center Drive, Suite 220
North Las Vegas, NV 89030
Phone: (702) 633-1677
Fax: (702) 633-5278

Manager: Jeff Carson

Code Enforcement officers are not recognized, as are police, fire fighters, paramedics, lifeguards, etc., for saving lives; but their roles can be similar and just as important. Too often their efforts go unnoticed, even after code compliance has been accomplished due to their collective efforts and specialized expertise.

Code enforcement officers save lives and protect property on a daily basis. They are certified and trained to provide for the safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City of North Las Vegas through equitable enforcement of building, zoning, housing and other codes or regulations.

Code Enforcement officers are dedicated, well-trained, and highly responsible individuals. They sometimes risk injury when inspecting vacant buildings and vacant lots, often confronting hostile violators and unrestrained animals. They take their jobs seriously and are proud of their profession.

The Code Enforcement team wants to stress the importance of value of proper code enforcement in the City of North Las Vegas. Our officers work very hard for the protections of the health, safety and welfare of the greater community.
