Gregory E. Rose was appointed to serve as City Manager on October 1, 2003. Rose joined the City of North Las Vegas in February 2001 as Assistant City Manager.
Rose is responsible for implementing public policy as created by the North Las Vegas City Council. He serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of the City, Redevelopment Agency and Library District. He is responsible for overseeing daily municipal operations consisting of fourteen departments.
Rose is the former Deputy City Manager for the City of University City, Missouri, serving in that position for four years. He also served as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Warrensburg, Missouri from 1992 to 1997. His career in municipal government began in 1991 as an administrative intern for the Town of Addison, Texas. He is a member of the International City/County Managers Association and a Credentialed City Manager.
Rose earned a master's degree in public affairs and a bachelor of science degree in public administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.
