How do I receive City Council agenda and/or minutes?
The City Clerk’s Office has a request form to be completed if you wish
to be mailed the City Council, Redevelopment Agency and/or Planning
Commission Agendas or Minutes or if you wish to purchase a City of North
Las Vegas Code Book. Please contact the Clerk’s Office at 633-1030 or
(click here).
When and where are City Council Meetings?
City Council meetings are held the first and third Wednesdays of every
month at 6:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 2200 Civic Center Drive,
North Las Vegas, Nevada.
How do I request the opportunity to speak at a Council Meeting?
If you wish to speak on any agenda item, or in the Public Forum portion
of the meeting, please complete one of the blue cards which are located
at the back of the room and at the podium in Council Chambers. Please
be sure to indicate the item number or write Public Forum if you have
general comments. Give the card to the City Clerk. When the Mayor calls
upon you to speak, please limit your comments to no more than five minutes
and try to avoid repetition.
How do I appeal a decision of the Planning Commission to the City Council?
The window to file an appeal regarding a Planning Commission decision
is seven days after the meeting in which the decision was made. An Appeal
form can be obtained from the City Clerk’s Office, or download by clicking
on the link below. If you have questions as to whether an item is appealable,
or specific procedures, please contact the Planning & Zoning Division
at 633-1516.

How do I get copies of ordinances, municipal codes and other City documents?
The City Clerk is the Custodian of Records for the City. Visit the
Municipal Code
Book to review the City’s charter and laws, which are
comprised of ordinances. Minute books and related documentation are
available for review and copies of documents are available for $1.00
per page. Feel free to contact the City Clerk’s Office at 633-1030 during
business hours for more information.
