Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Advises the City Council and the City Manager on the legality
of various procedural matters.
- Researches issues in connection with the development of
ordinances, resolutions, and other actions of the City Council.
- Serves as legal consultant to all City departments, commissions
and boards, including the Planning Commission, North Las Vegas
Library District, and Civil Service Board.
- Gives written or oral legal opinions with respect to issues
brought to its attention.
- Defends the City in all lawsuits filed against it.
